Exporting dispensing records from Kroll

Pull a dispensing CSV for your controlled substances out of Kroll and import it into NarcCount.

NarcCount reconciles against the controlled-substance items you dispensed between counts. Kroll can export exactly that as a CSV.

In Kroll

  • Open Rx → “Rx for Drug/Doctor Groups”.
  • Set the date range to span your last count through your current count.
  • Leave the Patient and Doctor tabs set to “(All)”.
  • On the Drug tab, filter the Drug Schedule to N (Narcotic), G (Controlled), and T (Targeted).
  • On the Options tab, enable “Group by Rx” and “Print Inactive Rxs”.
  • Click “Save CSV” and save the file somewhere easy to find.

In NarcCount

Go to Upload File, choose Dispensing, select the CSV, and upload. NarcCount auto-detects the columns and canonicalizes the DINs. (Coming soon: connect Kroll so this happens automatically — see Connections.)
