Exporting purchase records from McKesson

Use a McKesson account with permission to run reports.

In McKesson

• Open the Finance tab in the left-hand menu.
• Choose “Reporting” from the list.
• Select the “Narcotics and Controlled Substances” report.
• Set the date range (last count → current count).
• Click “Export to Excel”, then “Build Report”, and save the file.

In NarcCount

Go to Upload File, choose Purchases, and upload the file (save it as CSV first if it downloaded as Excel). You’ll see a confirmation with how many records were imported.
